House

Bedrooms

Wildwood has three generous sized bedrooms, containing two queen beds and one single bed. The third bedroom is small and is best suited to a child or small adult. The master bedroom has an open fireplace and a complimentary basket of wood. All rooms have loads of natural lighting and all open onto the timber decks. The beds all have doonas with cotton covers plus cotton blankets.

Dining Area

The dining area features a recycled oregon timber dining table seating 6 with easy access to the kitchen and outdoor area.

Lounge Area

The lounge area, which looks out onto the southern garden, has two sofas (a 3 seater and a 2 seater) and a slow combustion fire.

The comforts of free Wi-Fi, a digital TV, DVD and CD player and iPod docking station make Wildwood feel like home.

Wildwood does have a digital flat screen TV and reception for all the ABC and SBS channels is excellent, but reception for channels 7, 9 and 10 is not very good, due to all the surrounding trees.

There’s also a stack of complimentary, contemporary magazines to get your holiday started. You might even find “Better Homes and Gardens” magazines which featured Wildwood twice on the cover in less than 12 months.

Kitchen Area

The galley kitchen is well equipped for total ease of meal preparation. It contains a dishwasher, microwave and fridge in addition to the electric 4-hotplate stove and oven. Contemporary kitchen goods including stainless steel cookware, cutlery, coffee plunger, glasses, champagne flutes, utensils, loads of serving platters and bowls and a dining setting for 6 are all supplied as part of your Wildwood experience. In winter, the sun filters through the northern glass doors warming the kitchen and dining areas. In summer, the tall trees protect the house from the hot sun.

Bathroom

Wildwood received a brand new, fresh white bathroom in 2010 comprising a shower with a semi-frameless screen, WC, wall hung vanity and a very practical and stylish louvre window that generates lots of airflow and light.

A washing machine and clothes dryer are hidden in a ‘New York style’ cupboard just outside the bathroom.

Outdoor Area

The outdoor area is nestled among the trees – it’s ideal for total escapism. The rear deck is private, looking into the gardens and bush for which Pearl Beach is renowned. The sunny, north-facing rear deck has a large gas BBQ and teak timber outdoor setting for 6.

In the evening, the south-facing front deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the waves rolling in with a glass or two of champagne. The decks are the perfect setting for a coffee and croissant in the morning, a BBQ, or a quiet relaxing wine and cheese with friends in the evening.
